When you first take a look at Panda Research you think it is a great way to make money on the side. But in this review we will be going deeper into Panda Research so you can get a clear view of this program.
My goal is for you to come away with a clear understanding of the program and what they have to offer. We will be looking at a basic overview of the program, the cost to join, my personal experience, the experience of others, final thoughts, and my recommendation.
Let’s begin this review looking at an overview of what’s up.
Panda Research has been here since 2005 just like I stated at the top. Even though, their website says at the bottom 2011. (This is the first Red flag raised for me.)
They also state they have paid out lots of money to their members, an average of $2.5 million annually to be exact. This might be impressive, except they don’t tell us how many people this was, so it’s hard to gauge what sort of checks people are receiving. (Remember those numbers are probably from 2011)
Another way to earn money according to them is by referring friends and reading emails. If you read emails you can get an additional maximum of $25 and for referring you will get a 10% bonus. I don’t know about you but I feel a little uncomfortable about referring a family member to something I don’t totally believe in myself.
Panda Research makes payments twice per month, on the 1st and the 15th. And they pay through PayPal only.
Next, I will tell you all about my personal experience with Panda Research.
My Personal Run Around
I have had some personal experience myself with this company. I would like to share that with you here.
When I first signed up for their program the sign up was quite simple just like they said. All you stated, all you had to have to do is push the blue button that says “begin now”.
My only concern is, yes the initial sign up is free, but soon after you join you are bombarded with other offers that are paid offers. These offers do require your credit card information. When you enter your personal information there doesn’t seem to be any security options in place, so this is of concern to me.
Once I finally got past this stumbling block, which took some time, I began taking the small surveys. I finished the small survey group so I started on the next level. I would begin the survey but get an error message that I didn’t meet criteria or they had reached their limit for my group. This got very frustrating!!!
I didn’t have a PayPal account before this so I set one up just for this. I finally earned enough to withdrawal so I hit the button “Get Paid”. When I reached the required amount I waited and waited. I thought maybe I didn’t set something up right so I contacted support. Funny, I got no response and so I waited some more.
Now, we will discuss the experiences that other people had.
Now I would like to tell you about a few experiences that other people had to deal with. I felt like Panda Research was a possible scam but here are reports from others.
#1. Other people also had large sums of money that was held back by the company because of negative complaints.
#2. Other people waited several months for a payment if they even got one at all. Plus the payment was smaller than it should have been.
#3. Panda Research stated their payments were placed on hold for approval reasons. This just looks “fishy”.
#4. Other people got hundreds of spam email a day which made it look as though the company was selling personal information.
So all in all, I guess I wasn’t the only one who had a problem with this company. Sounds like others did too. Not looking too good for Panda Research but I will wait until the very end to make my final decision.
Now let’s go on to talking about the price.
Of course it’s free to join but then you may be asked to give your credit card information out so you can also sign up for offers. Sometimes I found that just to take a survey you had to sign up for an offer. For instance, you may be asked to try hand cream and then fill out a review on it.
If you plan to really do this, you can’t do it part-time. It will require all your time and comment to be successful. You will either have to bug family and friends or else find some other way to meet their requirement so you can get your money.
So if you want to make money from home with Panda Research you will need the know-how and elbow grease or else you will be losing money and/time.
Now we will look at the support you will get with this company.
Here is a screen shot of a support ticket and the only way to contact the company.
Now I would like to leave you with some final thoughts.
Not all survey sites are the same. They aren’t all scam sites. I will list my recommendations below but there are some legit ways to make money online.
As I promised here is a list of sites I would recommend. For survey sites:
- Project Payday
- Vindale Research
Of course, if you want to work and earn online I would recommend Wealthy Affiliate
